Lory Martinez is a Colombian-American journalist and podcast producer from Queens, NYC. She is the Founder of Studio Ochenta, an award-winning multilingual podcast studio dedicated to raising voices across cultures. She is the executive producer and creative lead on a number of podcasts for the studio in 27+ languages.
She hosts Mija Podcast, an audio drama that follows the immigration journey of one family from Colombia to the United States. The podcast is available 5 languages (including Mandarin and Arabic) and hit #1 in Fiction on Apple podcasts in 31 countries in total. Currently based in Paris, France, she combines over a decade of content production experience across radio, print and video for brands, institutions, and global audio platforms.
