Here are a few case studies for brands I’ve helped bloom.
PERSONAL BRANDING - For freelancers
Case Study 1: MIJA: Transforming a Personal Brand → Platform
Goal: Prove a multicultural creative could sell premium work internationally
Wins: Global press + awards • Built a loyal audience • Monetized across formats
Badges: Webbys • Premios Ondas • 3 languages
Starting point
Freelancer with a story to tell and no “owned” audience. Wanted to build a personal brand that felt personal, bilingual, and credible.
Challenges
No paid media, limited time, and a niche topic: immigration. Needed a repeatable content system.
What I built: (timeline)
Defined the unique brand promise: “Authentic immigration stories from across cultures told by immigrants, for immigrants.”
Picked 3 main promotion channels: Podcast first, social media, and newsletter. Biweekly cadence.
Multilingual lift to showcase language case: Released EN/ES/FR micro-assets from one master script.
Credibility stack: Collected press, awards, and listener notes as social proof.
Monetized : Live events & partnerships
Outcomes: International awards and mainstream coverage, Spin-off newsletter with steady open rates, Paid invites for talks, events, and collaborations.

SMALL BUSINESS BRANDING
Case Study 2: Studio Ochenta, Turning an Indie production company → Respected International Publisher
Goal: Take a small production business and turn it into a brand with a global reputation
Wins: Global press + awards • Industry leader featured in International Conferences • Expanded to new markets• Sold 6-figure projects• Live shows in Mexico, UK, France, Colombia, Spain
Badges: Lovies• Webbys • Premios Ondas • Digital Journalism Awards
Starting point
Local production house based in Paris, known for indie productions in French and English, primarily thanks to its founder. The company had a unique USP, it was one of the only companies doing multilingual podcasts at launch.
Blockers
No paid media. No existing reputation or social following. Needed to get noticed, fast without relying on social media.
What we changed (timeline)
Identified speaking opportunities immediately using USP as the pitch driver: “Leading multilingual podcast production agency”, “female-founder”, “independently-owned”, “international is our DNA”
Picked 2 channels: Live events, and press opps. Went to every podcast festival and pitched as a speaker with a unique angle: an International perspective. Keynote speaker roles, live shows, and case study presentations at the largest industry conferences. Accepted roles as moderator for panels at International radio conferences and constantly promoted the flagship podcast: Mija, as the key example of success. Press obtained using existing connections and an authentic story.
Built a proof loop: Each series the company launched→ #1 Stat shared across socials, press, and presented in a live event locally → Brand name recognition thanks to social and event proof
Multilingual lift: All projects had a multilingual or multicultural focus: every project was ‘on brand’.
Monetization and Business development were all ORGANIC: Live events, partnerships, commissions, all came from brand name recognition.
Outcomes
International awards and mainstream coverage
Paid invites for talks, events, and collaborations
6 years of steady business as an international production company producing award-winning content for international clients.
